Hand painted chessmen crafted from solid marble resin with felted bottoms. Napoleon and Wellington's battle, this beautiful chess set accurately captures the uniforms of the soldiers. Each piece is hand painted with exacting detail. Pieces are intricately sculpted and hand painted with an amazing level of fine detail, imported from the Orient.
The chess board/cabinet is made of the most superior woods maple, mahogany, briarwood & walnut, with a gorgeous mosaic trim around the board. Solid brass piano hinges and storage compartments for chess and checkers pieces with a lock and key. The artwork on the sides of the board are individually inlaid with various woods. This is a stunning set to leave out on display and will be the center of attention in any room. Board made in Italy. King Height: 3 5/16".Squares: 1 3/8".
