Other Photos from Cold Wars

 

 

I never saw the figures used for the fort, but the other features on the table (see below) looked pretty well thought out and executed.

These were the only other photos I was able to take at Cold Wars because out trip was cut short.  Mind you, I did not play in this game, but I was attracted, at first, by the tall wooden fence.  I did not see what was behind it, so I wandered some.  I don't have figures for this game, but I wish I did.  The figures used looked good and the game participants seemed to enjoy the proceedings. 

A Foreign Legion Fort from Cold Wars

 

I discovered this Foreign Legion fort right before I was scheduled to play in a Colonial German game set in South West Africa.  Both games were featuring 28mm figures that were well painted.  All through my game I kept on eye on this fort from afar and I preferred to play in this game, but the game masters were in no hurry to start, so I took the bird in the hand.

These are three pictures taken probably over five years ago at some HMGS convention.  I didn't play in any of the games featuring these shots, but the forts and ship were memorable.

 

I have loads of these pictures, but my aim was to explore this new computer I am using.  Now I know some things I didn't know before.

 

The first shot is that of a paper fort and the second is an Old Glory pirate ship.  The third picture is of a fort that just appeals to me.
